How long is the recovery after fat transfer to the breasts?
Fat is harvested from the patient's own abdomen, thighs or other areas, purified, and injected in portions into areas of the breast that lack volume. The clinic states that autologous fat is used instead of an implant and that the body contour of the donor area is planned as well.

How it is done
(1) Fat is harvested from areas with enough fat, such as the abdomen or thighs, according to body shape; (2) unnecessary components are separated and the fat for grafting is purified; (3) the fat is injected in portions across several areas, considering the layered structure of the breast so that it does not concentrate in one spot; (4) left-right balance and overall shape are checked. A board-certified anesthesiologist handles anesthesia 1:1.

Risks and side effects
- The clinic notes that swelling, bruising and pain, as well as skin and tissue healing, vary between individuals.
- How much of the grafted fat survives differs from person to person.
- Incision scars can remain at the donor sites; keloid-type scars are treated with scar injections.
- Lumps and discomfort can occur and are managed with radiofrequency care and similar treatments.
