Risks and side effects
- Discomfort and heat can be felt as the ultrasound energy is focused, and the degree varies between individuals.
- Redness, swelling and tenderness can occur after treatment; bruising, burns or temporary nerve irritation (tingling or reduced sensation) can occur in rare cases.
- In areas with little fat there is a possibility of unwanted changes such as hollow cheeks, so the areas and depths should be decided at consultation.
- The degree of discomfort, the results and how long they last vary between individuals with skin condition, age and other factors.

How much does it cost?
The clinic's non-covered fee schedule (as of 2026-06-15) lists 'Shurink Universe (Ultra F) 100 shots' at KRW 6–10 (in units of 10,000 won), VAT not included. The actual cost depends on consultation and skin condition.
How do the cartridge depths differ?
Per the clinic, 1.5 mm works on thin skin and the upper dermis, 3.0 mm on the lower dermis and 4.5 mm on the SMAS, and there is also a 2.0 mm cartridge. Cartridges are chosen according to the area and skin condition.
Which areas can be treated?
The clinic lists the forehead, glabella, outer eye corners, eye area, mouth area, nasolabial folds, chin, neck and body lifting as treatable areas.
