How much does a breast lift with augmentation cost in Korea?
A breast lift corrects breasts that have sagged due to childbirth and breastfeeding, weakening of the Cooper's ligaments with age, or rapid weight change. According to the clinic, depending on the degree of sagging (ptosis grade), it is corrected either with an implant alone or by removing stretched tissue and then inserting an implant.

How it is done
Grade 1–2 ptosis is corrected by extending the breast fold to raise the nipple position while inserting an implant. Grade 3 or higher is corrected by removing severely stretched tissue and then inserting an implant. The incision is chosen according to the degree of sagging: periareolar, vertical (periareolar plus vertical), or inverted-T (from the areola down to the breast fold).

Risks and side effects
- Scars remain depending on the incision. In the clinic's comparison, periareolar and vertical incisions are rated "low" for scar size and the inverted-T incision "medium".
- Keloid-type scars can form; they are treated with scar injections.
- When an implant is also inserted, capsular contracture can occur (causes: bleeding or hematoma, infection with inflammation, excessive fibrosis).

Frequently asked questions
What grade is my sagging?
Per the clinic's self-check guide, in a normal breast the nipple sits 4–5 cm above the breast fold. About 1 cm below the fold is mild ptosis, about 2 cm moderate, and 3 cm or more severe. The exact grade is confirmed at consultation.
How long is the operation and when are stitches removed?
The operation takes about 2–3 hours under general anesthesia with same-day discharge. Stitches are removed at 2 weeks, and the clinic states a recovery period of 7 days.
How is the incision chosen?
According to the degree of sagging: periareolar (small reduction), vertical (removes more than periareolar for a stronger lift), or inverted-T (removes the most and suits severe sagging).
Who performs the breast surgery?
The clinic's breast surgery and breast revision pages state that three board-certified plastic surgeons — Dr. Kim Woo-jung, Dr. Park Young-ji and Dr. Park Hae-yeon — operate in person. A board-certified anesthesiologist is dedicated 1:1 to anesthesia from the start to the end of surgery.
