What is Thermage FLX and how is it done in Korea?

Thermage FLX is a device that delivers radiofrequency (RF) energy to the dermis to generate heat. The clinic explains that this heat is used to stimulate collagen renewal and tighten the skin, and lists the full face, eye area, cheeks, deep cheek area, double chin and neck lines as treatment areas.

How it is done

After a one-to-one consultation, the number of shots and tips are planned on a dedicated Thermage chart and a program is chosen to suit the patient's needs. The clinic describes the fourth-generation AccuREP technology (an energy-delivery algorithm), a vibration function that moves up-down and left-right, and a cooling pulse system that cools the epidermis while RF heat is delivered. A face tip (4 cm² treatment area) and an eye tip (0.25 cm²) for the thinner eye-area skin are used. The clinic states that a genuine tip is opened at the start of treatment, and that after treatment the number of shots used is checked and an authenticity card and sticker are issued.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

The Thermage row in the clinic's non-covered fee schedule (as of 2026-06-15) has inconsistent minimum and maximum figures (the minimum is larger than the maximum), so it is not shown on this page. Please confirm the cost for the number of shots and areas during consultation.

Is the same tip used for the face and the eye area?

No. The clinic distinguishes a face tip (4 cm² treatment area) from an eye tip (0.25 cm²) for the thinner eye-area skin. Which tip and how many shots are used is decided at consultation.

Can I check that the tip is genuine?

The clinic states that a genuine tip is opened at the start of treatment, and that after treatment the number of shots used is checked and an authenticity card and sticker are issued.
