Who this is for
- Those with some breast tissue who want a natural size rather than a large one of D cup or above
- Those whose upper breast became hollow following childbirth
- Office workers, homemakers and others who cannot take a long recovery period
- Those who want the incision hidden in the armpit crease
- Not recommended for revision patients (per the clinic).
How it is done
Step 1: the Motiva Channel Separator creates a tunnel through a small incision without cutting tissue. Step 2: an inflatable balloon expands the space inside the breast. Step 3: the Motiva implant (SmoothSilk Ergonomix2 with Zen) is inserted with an insertion sleeve and the incision is closed. The balloon is positioned at the boundary of the breast's retaining ligaments, and the pocket's extent, symmetry and any bleeding are checked endoscopically prior to inserting the implant.

Frequently asked questions
How does Preservé differ from standard Motiva augmentation?
According to the clinic, conventional surgery cuts tissue to create the implant pocket, while Preservé uses a balloon instrument to expand an existing layer. Per its comparison table: operation time 30–40 minutes (vs 1 hour 30 minutes), local anesthesia or sedation (vs general anesthesia), and an incision of 2.5–3 cm (vs 3.5–4.5 cm).
Is there an implant size limit?
The clinic states that implant volume with Preservé is limited to a maximum of 315 cc, and that it suits those who want an increase of about 1–2 cup sizes.
Can Preservé be used for revision surgery?
The clinic does not recommend Preservé for revision patients: once a capsule has formed from the first operation, the existing capsule must be corrected, so a revision technique is more appropriate.
What kind of anesthesia is used?
The clinic states that you can choose between local anesthesia and sedation.
Who performs the breast surgery?
The clinic's breast surgery and breast revision pages state that three board-certified plastic surgeons — Dr. Kim Woo-jung, Dr. Park Young-ji and Dr. Park Hae-yeon — operate in person. A board-certified anesthesiologist is dedicated 1:1 to anesthesia from the start to the end of surgery.
