How it is done
The design takes into account eye size, skin elasticity, how much of the iris shows, orbital fat distribution, previous surgery, the degree and direction of orbicularis muscle sagging, the preferred method and overall facial balance. An incision along the crease removes a minimal amount of sagging skin and unnecessary fat; the sagging orbicularis muscle is trimmed and pulled up and fixed within a range that does not burden the eye, and the incision is closed along the crease. Where upper blepharoplasty alone is not enough (heavy brow sagging with a short eye-to-brow distance, or ptosis with weak eye-opening strength), the clinic describes combining it with a forehead lift or brow lift.

Risks and side effects
