- As implant surgery, capsular contracture can occur (causes listed by the clinic: bleeding or hematoma, infection with inflammation, excessive fibrosis, implant damage).

According to the clinic, conventional surgery cuts tissue to create the implant pocket, while Preservé uses a balloon instrument to expand an existing layer. Is there an implant size limit?
The clinic states that implant volume with Preservé is limited to a maximum of 315 cc, and that it suits those who want an increase of about 1–2 cup sizes.
Can Preservé be used for revision surgery?
The clinic does not recommend Preservé for revision patients: once a capsule has formed from the first operation, the existing capsule must be corrected, so a revision technique is more appropriate.
