WOOA Plastic Surgery βΊ Frequently asked questions
What is a double bubble breast deformity and how is it corrected?
A double-bubble deformity is when the original breast fold does not disappear following implant placement, leaving two fold lines and a step in the lower breast. According to the clinic, it is corrected by capsulorrhaphy β suturing the loosened lower capsule to raise the implant.

How it is done
Breast proportions are checked and the inside of the breast examined by ultrasound, then capsulorrhaphy sutures the loosened lower capsule to raise the implant. If capsular contracture has pushed the implant down, capsule removal is performed at the same time.

- Capsule-related conditions listed by the clinic include implant rupture, capsular contracture, seroma and calcification.
- Keloid-type scars can form; they are treated with scar injections.
- The clinic states that breast revision is more difficult than the first operation.
- The clinic notes that a double bubble develops gradually, is hard to detect early, and may be caused by complications such as capsular contracture, so accurate diagnosis is needed.
Results and recovery vary by individual. Possible complications are explained during consultation.
